Some
and happiness
Another Fun Factoid from yesterday's drubbing:
The Vikings were the first team to follow up being shut out by shutting out their opponent since the Denver Broncos in weeks 3 & 4 of 1992. They followed up a 30-0 loss to Philly with a 12-0 shutout of Cleveland.
We are at 11, not 10For all you draftniks, The Athletic has us at ten in the draft as of Monday, December 9. We also still have less than 1% chance to make the playoffs.

It’s projected, not the order as of 12/9.We are at 11, not 10
Somehow, they have the bengals, who have a worse record, drafting behind us.
I noticed the Cincy/MIN switch and just assumed they were projecting the Bengals to finish better than us. Looking at the garbage in front of us, it's unlikely that we move up much if any. It’s projected, not the order as of 12/9.
My bad.

The NYG and WAS should shut down their QBs the rest of the way, not just to help facilitate the "tank", but to help protect their investments. Those two (2) teams have the best chance of improving next season.
Having JJM play well helps the team in the future much more than picking a little bit later. I'm fine if they win some games if it mean he's playing better. So ... we crush Washington and the Giants, in meaningless wins that will cost us what ... 4, 5, 6, more? draft spots?
Probably lose to Cowboys in a game the fans would actually care about us winning.
Get crushed at home by Lions and Packers to finish out the year with a sour taste in our mouths while not gaining any draft spots.
That sound like the plan?

I think we win in big D on Sunday.Having JJM play well helps the team in the future much more than picking a little bit later. I'm fine if they win some games if it mean he's playing better.
Officially out for the year. Tough break for them.Daniel Jones just blew out his achilles. Hate to see it.
Thank you - the dreams alive - Love it.This is what the Vikings need to have happen to make the playoffs including us winning out. Just throwing it out there.
Here's the help they need in Week 16:
- Browns beat Bears — 2% chance Vikings make the playoffs
- Rams beat Lions — 3% chance Vikings make the playoffs
Here's the help they need in Week 17:
- Packers beat Bears — 6% chance Vikings make the playoffs
- Steelers beat Lions — 19% chance Vikings make the playoffs
Here's the help they need in Week 18:
- Commanders beat Cowboys — 24% chance Vikings make the playoffs
- Seahawks beat Panthers — 25% chance Vikings make the playoffs
- 49ers beat Bears — 49% chance Vikings make the playoffs
- Lions beat Bears — 81% chance Vikings make the playoffs
What a wonderful day if you still have SEA left in your Survivor Pool.
"The Indianapolis Colts will work out retired quarterback Phillip Rivers on Tuesday, sources confirmed to ESPN's Adam Schefter on Monday."What a wonderful day if you still have SEA left in your Survivor Pool.
It doesn't just demolish IND's playoff hopes this year but also for next year, too. Jones is also a FA after the year so this injury complicates things for everyone involved.
Would he be the first grandpa to play in the NFL if this happens?"The Indianapolis Colts will work out retired quarterback Phillip Rivers on Tuesday, sources confirmed to ESPN's Adam Schefter on Monday."
George Blanda maybe?Would he be the first grandpa to play in the NFL if this happens?
Nothing like one (1) catch on his only target for four (4) yards to really recapture the "love of the game".
What a fraud.
What a diva. Detroit Lakes is ashamed.
What a fraud.

Brett Favre was a grandfather before his playing days were over.George Blanda maybe?
And still found time to send pictures to random reporters.....Brett Favre was a grandfather before his playing days were over.

I won't remember it tomorrow.Meh... Don't really care what he said in that scenario; most folks are going to try to say something positive about being in their new environment, get the fanbase at least somewhat excited about him being there. I doubt Vikings fans remember that a month or two from now, much less beyond that.
I won't remember it tomorrow.
Just a silly comment from a guy throwing shade at the team that wasted two (2) draft picks to acquire him and then graciously granted his release so he could sign with a potential playoff team.
