Official 2026 Roster Movement Thread - Who's In and Who's Out?

Most are out as soon as semester is over and making visits. Most of our players that have announced are likely making move down a level.
You cannot be contacted by another school until you are in the portal.

How can you be "making a visit"? On your own dime, perhaps?

Or are you saying all these guys are actively flaunting NCAA rules?

They just added 5 in the 2026 class and it sounds like they are high on Hayes and Martino, I think they’ll be fine. I wouldn’t be surprised if they add at least 1 in the portal too though.
I've heard that Nuke Hayes is the most dynamic WR after the catch the Gophers have and it isn't close. The battle this spring/summer will be fascinating between Smith, Tracy, Coleman, Hayes, and the young guys. I think Coleman might come out on top with another offseason in the weight room.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like our transfer NIL checkbook is very slim, most of the NIL is reserved for recruits. If that's the case, it will be tough to recreate 2019 with guys like St. Juste and Williamson.

I’m sure it is slim compared to the top of the B1G and Sec.

However, it was enough to bring in 22 transfers last year but I wouldn’t be upset if they reconsidered their strategy and target more quality over quantity and bring in more impactful players.

Even at 10-12 from the transfer market, they can likely fill a lot of the holes from last year with surefire starters. Most, if not all, depth is filled theough HS recruiting.

I think they bring in however many is needed to fill out the roster. There’s no rule saying you have to pay them all.

Where are you hearing that? I don’t think it’s really public knowledge. To be fair Williamson and St. Juste probably wouldn’t have commanded much NIL at the time they had transferred here considering their prior bodies of work.

Fair point. It seems there must be a way for them to get more impact from their transfers compared to last year. However, maybe last year wasn’t a money problem but more an evaluation problem.
