The young players are better than expected, the old guys are worse.
I thought it was the other way around. Yes you would cut Hargrave then.
He's not really change of pace. Jones is a better pass catcher but there's no reason he can't be a #1.
Probably have to designate it post June 1. I don't know if that means you can't get a 2026 draft pick or not. I don't necessarily want to trade him but there's some sort of disconnect with him.
They do a lot of really stupid things. Lots of penalties.Things weren't this bad even during the Les Steckel debacle.
There's been a couple games this year that are as noncompetitive as you'll ever see
Versus an average RB who's hurt all the time. No great drop off.If Mason is the #1 RB, they have a below average starting RB .
If they are using next year to clean up the cap, it might be worth taking the hit if they don't want him long term. I wouldn't say it's likely. They're not moving Darrisaw regardless of this 'disconnect'. It makes their cap situation worse and they would likely significantly downgrade with his replacement. It makes zero sense.
Agreed. I'd like to move on from Kwesi. It's going to be extremely difficult to improve this roster next season with the cap hell that they are in. They are going to need JJ McCarthy to improve significantly and hit on every single draft pick.
We are playing ours, too.perfectly good with Seattle getting multiple starters hurt playing their starters up 26 with 5 min left.
Not wishing for injuries but man it’s just dumb
One team is a playoff team. Ones season is over In a few weeksWe are playing ours, too.
Finding past 1st round drafts is not the difficult task you think it is.Sam and Dan say hi
But getting them to play like first rounders is MeatSauceFinding past 1st round drafts is not the difficult task you think it is.
294 Games agoThe last time the Vikings were shut out, Favre was still a Packer.

He needs to let someone else have the play calling. It appears that is his focus and the team is falling apart at the seams. KOC - has been a great coach up to this year, but he has been a bad decision machine this year and the team plays like a pick up squad. Mental errors everywhere.Does KOC have control of this team.
8 false starts........defensive offsides all day today.

He should but he won't. The only one from the Shanahan coaching tree that doesn't/didn't call his own plays was Mike Shanahan himself. He needs to let someone else have the play calling. Turnovers, penalties, drops, fumbles, interceptions. This is horrible football- all year.League worse 25 TOs!!
This is back to the Tavaris Jackson daysIn my many decades of watching viking Football football........I've never seen anything like this.
It's like a dream.
Our competitive season is over. The next several weeks is where the players and coaches determine if they want out and blow it up or if they are going to start to play like they are going to put things back in order next year as a group. One team is a playoff team. Ones season is over In a few weeks
Yeah ... I get the point, but "crucial?"
so what? One team is a playoff team. Ones season is over In a few weeks
so then if someone gets hurt, its probably not going to be a big deal if they miss a week or two and you're trying to figure out your roster for next year.so what?
acl's can tearso then if someone gets hurt, its probably not going to be a big deal if they miss a week or two and you're trying to figure out your roster for next year.
Seattle is fighting to get to not be the vikings of last year and have to go on the road to start the playoffs.
Probably silly of us to play JJ at that point, but the rest of the entire roster is dispensable
that's fair. for mn it just doesn't matter much when you look at what that "starting lineup" was imo. each of those guys aside from Jefferson is a debate onif they're on the roster next yearacl's can tear
mcl's can tear
achilles can blow out
It's a viscious sport.
I"ve never understood having starters in on either side that late.
If the 2 teams are tied at the end of the season Minnesota would pick ahead of Washington in the draft. SOS is the 1st tiebreaker for draft order. SO Minnesota has the weaker SOS then Washington who has the stronger SOS. So Minnesota get the higher draft pick. The Vikings need to lose out. They're around pick 10 right now. Losing to Washington would be huge. They'd pass the Vikings based on the H2H tiebreaker.
big games next week for the Vikes in addition to theirs vs WashIf the 2 teams are tied at the end of the season Minnesota would pick ahead of Washington in the draft.
