Just like three years ago when they had a 3 TD lead entering the fourth quarter and blew it. When Northwestern consistently makes a fool of you it's time for a coaching change.

C. Offense was good enough. Defense was MIA. Mixed bag on Special Teams, need a new kicker but Koi was great on returns. Northwestern is a decent team, very beatable though.

What bugs me is the sitting in soft zones when Wilde or Ulig wasn't fast and Stone faced zero pressure. We made no decent effort by design to generate any rush.
I know Gophers cannot play man but sitting in these zones, and lack of discipline maintaining rushing lanes or integrity of a zone. We were giving them 10 yards off the ball to run free and never adjusted the entire game. I don't think anyone could fix what they were even trying to do today on defense. This was poor an effort on defense in a long line of poor efforts this season. I cannot say it enough, Collins doesn't belong in this role.

Nice to see you’ve come around and realize Collins is in over his head and it’s time to move on. I was at both the Iowa and Oregon games and witnessed that pathetic display of defense in person. Thankfully I sat this one out otherwise I’d be in total meltdown mode at Wrigley. Flashbacks of Robb Smith.

Heatherman was good hire. Disappointed they didn't get budget to retain him.
They better pony up some big bucks to get a real defensive coordinator in here to fix this mess. Maybe Coyle can stop giving Fleck raises and extensions and give it to the assistants. We also need a Big10 caliber kicker. The two missed kicks today weren’t even close.

Really? If someone gets offered by Miami, we are going to lose them, but if PJ wanted to pay him more and the guy wanted to stick around they could’ve made it work.
