I'm with you. Hated the morning show so much.... Haven't even given it a thought for 20+ years. I might now, though.Quite a gimmick for KQ92 to play Soul Asylum's Somebody to Shove on a loop this past Tuesday.
I bailed on KQ completely, circa 1989. I've gone decades without even having 92.5 programmed in my favorite stations on my FM dial in the car.
Interesting that now they are going to play the music that I sought out on other stations/outlets at that time.
Like, literally the same 90s music.

Seems like a smart move with their audience getting so old. They needed to target us spry 50 somethings.Quite a gimmick for KQ92 to play Soul Asylum's Somebody to Shove on a loop this past Tuesday.

I checked in on it today for a minute and it was indeed weird to hear Depeche mode on KQ

I heard Soft Cell, U2 and then Stevie Nicks.Today's sampling:
Cracker
Rolling Stones
Cure
Billy Idol again (different song)

All of that is fine, but is it any different than what they were playing up to last month?!?
Give me a heads up when they play one of the following:Today's sampling:

One of Minnesota’s most revered albums will now be a box set
The Replacements’ 1984 LP ‘Let It Be’ is getting the deluxe treatment, complete with new outtakes and a live recording.www.startribune.com
I'm sure we'll get Westerberg/Replacements reunion tour to support this project. Nevermind. Unsatisfied.
It's way up there for me too. It's pretty hard for me to differenciate Let it Be with either Tim or Pleased to Meet Me as my favorite Replacements album. One of my favorites of all time.
