Correct. True for most schools I think. They major in biology or chemistry, or some other science degree (or some combination of).

Yes, and the gap to Rypien's salary is minimal, so the decision won't be made based on savings. A good showing from Max this week should help solidify him as QB3. I did not realize the Gophs FB team was at the game last Saturday.

For as much as the new college athletic landscape can annoy me, there are some great stories of small college players who are able to transfer up and eventually live out their dream.
 




The article on the Vikings today in "The Athletic" ended positively on how Max looked in the joint scrimmage yesterday against the Patriots. Man, I wish we could have had him for two years.

"Undrafted rookie quarterback Max Brosmer built on his impressive preseason debut. On Wednesday, facing a blitz-all defensive picture from the Patriots, he lobbed a deep ball down the left sideline to receiver Tim Jones.

Brosmer sounds like a longtime professional. He discussed Wednesday how much he’s learned from O’Connell, quarterbacks coach Josh McCown and the rest of the staff in a short stint. Replicate his production Saturday or even next week, and he’ll further cement a job on the 53."
