All Things 2025 Minnesota Vikings In-Season Thread

I think they said JJ was going to be out 2-3 weeks and they would wait until he feels 100%. That leaves Addison, Nailor and Rondale Moore. We could use a Keenan Allen type WR on this roster.

I don't think Moore makes the team, but I could be wrong.

Think they hoped tai Felton could be that big bodied type guy and he’s supposedly looked very meh. It’s part of what makes the bengals so hard to defend with chase and Higgins. Addison is fine, but he isn’t a WR1 on a good team. Then it just ripples down the line

The kid that does Locked On Vikings, Luke Braun, was very, very skeptical of Tai Felton from the day the Vikings drafted him. Maybe the kid's not too far off? This crew running the Vikings have proven to be pretty favorable to their own draft picks so I'm guessing they give Felton a long leash to shine or show value.

Everything I'm reading out of Steelers camp seems positive. But I agree let's not waste our time talking about something that isn't on the table, my friend.

The real question, if this doesn't fix itself sooner than later (or worse, it carries over into the preseason), is if they need to think about bringing Kirk in.

If they do, it needs to be understood that he will not be anointed starter and would have to win the job. No big contract, something similar-ish to Darnold.

He has found out that after last season's post-Achilles rupture performance that he is not getting much interest as a starter. If he can't accept the terms above, then no deal.

I think there will be better options than Kirk, either already in Eagan or perhaps not.

I don't really stress about it any earlier than Labor Day.

Practice. We're talking about practice.

That's fine for a casual fan to say, but coaches have to and if needed I trust they will take action prior to then.

Thanks for posting all the content!

Love to see McCarthy rebound after an awful Friday. Granted, 7-on-7 doesn't do much for me (no pressure at all ... sit back all day and wait for someone to come open then get to throw a perfect pass)

I wouldn't even be mad if KOC went to Flores and said "Flo you have to call off the dogs for at least a day ... we have to give this kid some confidence".

I trust the coaches (and other decision makers) as well. That's precisely why I don't really care about practice reports during the first week of August.

Labor Day. That's when "bleep" gets real.

Until then. Noise.

Agree that's how it is ... until it isn't. And a move is made before then.
