They make a kelluva lure!A great Finnish company!
Only two lures I ever use are a Rapala and a Mepps spinner. All other lures are a waste of money. They make a kelluva lure!
When I was a kid I would catch a ton of Northerns on red/white Daredevils.Only two lures I ever use are a Rapala and a Mepps spinner. All other lures are a waste of money.![]()
Time out of the water when the water temps are warm is the biggest factor (especially for the walleye). The fish on the photo aren't super-huge so less danger than if they were big. If they released them relatively quickly, they'll be fine.Nice fish. Too bad they will likely die if they were released.
Somebody needs to teach them how to handle a fish. Never hold a fish vertically. Once the hook has been removed,, hold them horizontally and get them back into the water ASAP.
I hated catching northerns. Slimy snakes, full of bones, and generally good for nothing. When I was a kid I would catch a ton of Northerns on red/white Daredevils.
Filleted correctly, northerns are quite good.I hated catching northerns. Slimy snakes, full of bones, and generally good for nothing.Give me bass, walleye, and crappies. But, I did have a daredevil in the box.
