Signs what in December? And is that thing signed any form of a binding legal contract?

I don't think he will change his mind. This was a phenomenal signing and I am thrilled he chose to stay home!!

I'm merely curious and thought others reading this thread (even if they don't say so) might be interested, as well. Thanks!

National Letter of Intent, or whatever it's called these days. There's early signing day in December and then another in February, I think it is.

He chose the Gophers, staying in his home state and committing to a group of coaches — head coach P.J. Fleck, offensive coordinator Greg Harbaugh Jr. and tight ends coach Eric Koehler — who earned his trust.

“I just thought the people make the place,” Voss said Tuesday in a phone interview with the Minnesota Star Tribune. “The place doesn’t make the people.”

That’s not a criticism of coach Kalen DeBoer and the Crimson Tide staff — “Their people were great,” Voss said. “They were awesome”– but rather a tribute to the relationship that Fleck and Co. built since becoming the first program to show interest in Voss in April 2024.

“That coaching staff believes in me more than any coaching staff in the country,” Voss said. “I have a very good connection with them, and I think I have a good chance to play early in my career and hopefully make an impact right away.”

Is it possible Voss will enroll early and start school Winter Semester? He seems like a young man that is mature enough physically and mentally to handle entering college early.

He's a dandy buckets player too on what should be a very good team. I'd be surprised if he gave that up but maybe he's getting a big enough bag?

No. He'll play hoops. They might win the 2A title next year.
 

Would he not have a decent shot at playing right away this fall as a TE? Mainly just Geers?


EDIT: I saw we did add a transfer who played at Purdue last year
