I think the Gophers are open to play him at either LB or TE. Someone said LB would be his primary position but he would get some looks at TE. He’s very athletic and versatile just like Perich who’s primary position is S but is getting looks at RB and WR.

I’m a bit nervous as to why Iowa didn’t offer McGregory. I think I might rather get Darion Jones. Julian Manson from Iowa would be a nice steal from Iowa. I like what we already have at RB, but SirPaul Cheeks would be a nice addition. I don’t think we are in the driver seat for either one of those two though.

I don’t think McGregory wants to play at Iowa. Jones will likely go to Nebraska. His brother is there. Manson didn’t take an OV to the Gophers and is likely a lock for Iowa. Cheeks also didn’t take an OV to the Gophers. I think they’re happy with Estrada & Bates as their RB’s.

Yeah I figured they were long shots, but they look like nice prospects.

If Richardson is really the last S we take it would suck to have missed out on both McGregory and Jones. Especially if they commit to their home teams. Richardson does seem plenty athletic though reported a 4.5 at camp. With college S it seems that IQ/instincts is what holds them back as opposed to athleticism so if this guy has that ability to grow there then he’s a good take.

I could see them still taking McGregory if they have enough scholarships, they lose two safeties to eligibility after this year and only took one last class.

If the staff liked Richardson in person I’m fine throwing out the ratings between those three. He could easily be the best of the bunch.

Hopefully we get his final decision soon as well now that he has visited both finalists. No real news in the tweet, have never heard anyone say they didn't enjoy the official visit because I am sure they are a blast.
 






If you're keeping track like I am, Minnesota has a 247 composite score of 215.02 with 24 commits currently. For reference, the 2025 total including transfers was 219.72.

If you roll over in the sack and your girl says "wow" or "oh my god amazing" you are in good shape. But if she casually says she "enjoyed" it, she's just being polite.

I don’t believe Minnesota has ever had a top 4 in-state class as good as this one is. Voss, Trout, Johnson and Petersohn. All 4 stars. Petersohn we need you to jump in the boat soon!

I don’t know what you’re doing in the sack, but I’ve never had a partner only say “enjoyed it”.

I typically get “I’ve had more action opening a bag of chips quietly at night.”
