Western Conference Finals Minnesota Timberwolves vs Oklahoma City Thunder

They just showed graphic that teams that go up 2-0 in conference finals are 76-6. 😬

I am in agreement. I just like Dilly less than you.

Sign and trade one of Naz and Randle. Only way I see them getting a legit guy. Other option is to get a stopgap guy. I can't imagine them getting lucky in the draft, let alone drafting another young guy.

I already posted Conley being a +17 in this series against OKC. He isn't the issue right now. I'm also still really high on Rob D. I think having another creator is more important than a true PG, Rob brings that, and Ant also brings the ball up a lot. In most NBA offenses it doesn't matter who is labeled the 'PG'.

He had 3 points and 3 assists.

You have to score to beat OKC. I think Conley kills us.

You have to get production out of the point guard.

Ant was 32, 9 and 7 last night with no turnovers. He was -22 in the plus/minus.

+/- is the most stupid stat in all of sports.

Point guard kills this team and has all year. Our starting point is old, and we don't have a backup so we are forced to use DDV and others at the point.
If it's like you say .....

you never actually explained, how is this possible???

Ant's +/- for the whole time he's in doesn't prove or disprove a single thing about the +/- comparison of Conley being in vs Conley being out.

My wild guess is that Ant's +/- for when he (Ant) was in (you say it was -22) vs when he was out were both negative. Which if correct would mean Ant being in or out did not affect the scoring differential in those times.

Conley being in or out did affect it. If Conley hurts us, how is that possible?

Tyus Jones is a free agent. He'd fit in well on this team.

We've been through this before, so I will leave it with this .. Finch doesn't like Ant bringing the ball up a lot. I'm with him.

3 points from the point guard is going to do that? Please explain! You already get no points from your starting center.

Two of your starters don't score. Please explain your thoughts here.

Thanks

Bold: I asked you first, to explain how it's possible that when Conley is has been on the floor we've won the game.

My thoughts are simplistic: the Twolves must win these next two if they want a shot, and they have nothing to lose. So why not try something?

Maybe he's too old to play more minutes? But why not give it a shot, if he's on board?
