Wasn't happy how long it took to fire. Lukewarm on the new hire. The rate it's going is dire. Start stacking the funeral pyre. Meanwhile we're all getting tired. It's just how some people are wired. ;)

The guy was checking NBA temps and picked South Carolina over Kentucky, Gonzaga and Kansas. Must have been South Carolina’s #1 focus as the worst team in the SEC. Let’s see what SC puts around him and where Niko ends up.

I don't give an ounce of credence that kids from ND or SD will have any more regional provincialism for the U than a kid from WI would have.

It does seem like a strange choice considering all of the heavy hitters that showed interest in him, though.

They must have pooled all their resources together to get him
 

Wow. People need to relax. The kid didn’t have interest from all those schools - mostly simply the agent just putting schools out there. The kid can shoot but plays no defense.

Often times it comes down to relationships. In gymnastics, that's how Maggie Nichols ended up at Oklahoma.
 

I'm thinking there is going to be a waiting period until after the court case is decided and then things are going to be crazy.

I agree. I am concerned that there are some schools that will make promises now based on the expected outcome, while the U will not take that chance. The next week is going to be dicey until that decision comes out. I hope players that will seriously consider us can wait.

If you are going to make claims about me at least make them about something I actually said instead of making crap up just to be an ahole.

Serves me right for hitting show ignored content. Guess I hoped you would turn over a new leaf now that Ben is gone but I see you are still the same ahole you were when Johnson was coaching.

If they had $1.2 million in NIL to spend this year, they presumably have at least that much next year, even without the revenue sharing. They can sign at least a couple guys without waiting.
