I will tell you one thing that can't change my mind about Ben being a good coach, all these mediocre coaches telling me he's a good one, and even the good ones that say it- benefited from facing mediocre teams coached by him (ie had vested interest in him staying)

He was not a good coach, his teams never looked cohesive and its patronizing for these coaches to keep trying to hammer it over our heads that we just don't get it and NIL blah blah blah

Ben I am sure is a good person, don't care.

So my question is given your position on his mediocre coaching results vs Niko's lesser results, in far easier conferences, how do you think Niko is going to do?

2nd question is why do you feel like your the target of Mr. Crean?

Could it be that Tom Crean being a coach might watch video and make a starting point of team to ending point of team evaluation. Where as Kix4kix just cares about the final results? So their individual uses of the term "coaching" job carries a far different meaning, for different purposes, and using different criteria, despite said term's literal book definition?

Yes I think he is a mediocre coach, I assume college basketball agrees seeing as he doesn't have a job.

I'll answer your second question despite you spelling *you're incorrectly

I wasn't even really speaking about Creane specifically, Izzo (a great coach) and others have continued to say how good a coach Ben is.

Tom didn't specify his definition or his criteria hence why I didn't specify mine, so I took it at face value. If you "ATS gopher" want to discuss specifics you and I can do that.He mentions quality players that Johnson "cultivated" even though Hawkins was a transfer, and everyone with eyes could see Payne actually regressed his sophomore year a player Tom credits Ben for developing. That's all I need to know about how much thought Tom has put into his tweet.

I'd like to add that because you are part of a community, it does not mean you have litigious punitive authority. There is no power to punish those with whom you disagree.

There is an "ignore" option on this board for users. You can choose to use it at your own conversational peril. Lord knows it's probably been used on me multiple times. Think of all the conversations from which I have been shut out. (Blessing? Curse? YMMV)
