Gophers vs. Tommies 2027. Minnesota Classic. State Hoops Day. Every year on one day teams from high school to community college to DIII to DII to Gophers vs. Tommies are featured at the Barn or in TWolves arena or Xcel Energy Center to kick off Hoops season in Minnesota.

Can't wait for two Minnesota teams in March Madness!

After watching that press conference I have no doubt Niko is a home run hire! He has a twinkle in his eye knowing he can get it done here. Glad he’s retaining Thorson and some staff from Colorado. The next few weeks will be be telling as he puts his team together. I haven’t been this excited for Gopher bball since the Clem years, Go Gophers!
