I believe if Niko coached this years team they would have made the tourney. Hard to beat (at home even) the lower teams if you don’t run some sort of offense.

No doubt about it. He would of easily remedied our senior guards inability to shoot the three or distribute the ball, our overall lack of foot speed, the game to game inconsistency of Rigsby, and the puzzling disappearance of our best player for entire halves at a time. Since "this years team" was mentioned, recruiting while an issue, is not on the table. The inability to consistently hit open shots and free throws over a whole season is indicative of a roster that simply was not offensively talented. I think the effort was there, the ability wasn’t.

I am not exactly excited about Thorson staying but it's Niko's choice and he obviously loves the guy so fingers crossed!
