The Heat are open to listening to offers for Jimmy Butler, league sources told ESPN

Jimmy for Julius??
If Wolves fans are allowed to legally throw objects at General Soreness on the court, I'm all for it.

I can't imagine teams will be lining up to offer a 4/$220M Max deal to an injury-prone, 36 year old malcontent.

I suspect Butler's trade value and demand will be far lower than his "name" value.

Both of those teams are in the 2nd Apron. PHO could only offer Durant (nobody is taking Beal's deal) and GSW could on offer Curry. And that's only if both of those guy's salaries are an exact match of Butler's right to very penny.

Trades involving even one (1) team in the Apron are nearly impossible under the new CBA.

Fire Sale?

Jimmy Butler's time in Miami is all but over ... days after the 6x All-Star made it clear he wanted out, the Pat Riley led org. suspended "Jimmy Buckets," and blasted the former first-round pick in the process!

"We have suspended Jimmy Butler for seven games for multiple instances of conduct detrimental to the team over the course of the season and particularly the last several weeks," the Heat said in a statement Friday evening.

"Through his actions and statements, he has shown he no longer wants to be part of this team. Jimmy Butler and his representative have indicated that they wish to be traded, therefore, we will listen to offers."

FYI, Miami currently sits 6th in the Eastern Conference with a 17-15 record.

Looks like he won't be getting his "joy" back for a while...

Jimmy’s in full diva mode.

He go them to two NBA finals and an Easter Conference finals appearance as well, in his first five seasons, so that’s a good return for his five years.

He needs to find a new sandbox to play in.

I’d be surprised if no one bites🤷‍♂️
It just got a lot more appetizing

The Golden State Warriors are one of several teams back in the running for Jimmy Butler's services now that the Miami Heat have lowered their asking price, according to Yahoo Sports' Kevin O'Connor.

Momentum for a trade may be picking up one day after Butler's latest suspension by the Heat on Monday, his third this month. This suspension is "indefinite," after Butler apparently walked out of shootaround Monday morning after learning the team wasn't going to start him in their game against the Orlando Magic, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.

Butler will be suspended for a minimum of five games, which would run through the Feb. 6 trade deadline.
