Think he’ll return or enter draft?
Yes.Think he’ll return or enter draft?
Return is my guess.Think he’ll return or enter draft?
Touché
He should be trying to figure out if another year at Minnesota would improve his draft position. With his history of injuries, probably not.
I agree. No idea on LindenburgIt's probably not as easy a decision for Cody as it is for Aireontae Ersery.
Cody's a linebacker, and he has a history of injury. Aireontae is an offensive tackle and he's been on the NFL radar almost from the beginning.
Where would you guess each of them would be drafted? I'd say Ersery will go early.
He's been in the program for five years, plus I'm sure he saw Span-Ford torpedo his draft stock by coming back for a sixth yearHe should be trying to figure out if another year at Minnesota would improve his draft position. With his history of injuries, probably not.
Only possible hickup is that he's healthy right now which improves his draft chances. If he comes back and gets hurt again, all bets are off.I don’t think playing another year affects his status at all. I think it all comes down to if he’s ready for the next phase of his career.
Very true and in-depth analysis. He does in fact play football.
Cody is a heck of player, his biggest issue has been staying healthy. Day one starter is really high praise, hopefully some NFL team agrees and spends a decent draft pick on him.
Day 1 starter may be a little much but I don't doubt he could be a starter.Cody is a heck of player, his biggest issue has been staying healthy. Day one starter is really high praise, hopefully some NFL team agrees and spends a decent draft pick on him.
I think a lot of where he ends up will be based on how teams feel about his injury history. He seems to be projected around a 5th-7th rd pick but I think in reality he's probably talented enough to be 3rd-4th rd pick, might be the injury concerns are bringing him down a bit.I was kind of hoping he’d slip a bit and get a chance to wear purple as the primary back-up in the middle…
