Official 2024 Gophers Football Recruiting Thread: Links, Tweets, Videos, Rumors

Did anyone ever get confirmation on what each letter in the H.E.R.E stands for? Seeing it pop up a lot all of the sudden.

Looks like he played at the highest class level in Arkansas and made all state.

Some pretty good arm talent. I can’t tell if his footwork is so elite that it looks crazy but it seems like he kind of has crazy feet. Otherwise his wiggle and ability to keep this eyes down field are exciting. Take the arm talent and athleticism and coach him up on the rest. I like his tape a bit better than the Ohio kid but both look good enough to erase the last guys name from our memory.

Per Randy:

Perich made his third unofficial visit to the Minnesota campus on Saturday and attended the Gophers' Junior Day in January. He also made unofficial visits to Washington, Michigan and Wisconsin, along with attending Iowa's Junior Day.

Perich had 75 tackles, three interceptions and four fumble recoveries for Esko during the 2022 season. He also excelled as a versatile player on offense and special teams, rushing for 813 yards and 11 touchdowns, catching 17 passes for 353 yards and nine TDs, and adding five kickoff or punt return TDs.

Go Gophers!!

Looking at the list of top Minnesota high school recruits......has anyone heard anything regarding Khijohnn Cummings-Coleman? Appears that we've offered? Iowa and Iowa State as well....
He seems to be flying under the radar....

Just that he quit in the middle of the basketball season. Haven't heard much since then.

Thanks for checking out his tape quick. Guess they either got some bad news from the Ohio kid or are holding his feet to the fire a bit with this offer. Philo decommit was pretty clearly unexpected and threw a wrench in the staff's plans, but I'm sure they'll land a comparable player.

I don't want to jynx anything but I'm 99% sure we got Gilmore as well and he'll commit pretty soon, based on his twitter likes, which is my biggest indicator when looking at commits, its pretty obvious he's been a heavy gopher fan the past few days, even liking a tweet showing the AP Poll with Gophers at 1. Along with liking Riley Sunram's (another 2024 commit) response to Koi's commitment this morning. Things seem to be trending in the right direction

Now you've done it.

I like his arm too, feet get wild at times, but looks like he has plenty of arm strength and accuracy. Not super athletic, but seems to move well in the pocket and throws on the run decent enough. Seems like a quick release. Reminds me of Jacob Clark, little thinner. Can’t teach 6’5”, Philo didn’t have that.
