What new stuff would you like to see at the bank?

Summit, Surly, Castle Danger, Lift Bridge all are served there.
Where are you seeing Summit this year? I have checked every option on the North Side but have come up empty.

Security, got in line just before 1:00 on Saturday and almost missed kickoff. The metal detectors were acting more like motion detectors. My 7yo, wearing sweats and a t-shirt, set off the machine 3 times. No artificial hips or anything. Every single person in our line had to go through machine 2-3 times and this was basically for optics. They knew the machines weren't working as intended but couldn't simply let the flood gates open.
Yes, security was a problem once again on Saturday. I had the same experience where EVERYONE had to go through the machine 2-3 times, including my young son. It was pointless.

This too. I walked into the Big House on Saturday with 110,000 people for a rivalry game. Penn State the week before. Not a single metal detector (PSU had something else not requiring you to remove any metal).

Upgrade the internet connection.
And this.

I want more restrooms and food/beverage on the top level. Maybe add some more luxury club or boxes on the north side of the stadium. Try to get closer to 60,000 with the additions. East upper level should have a museum or a bigger store for merchandise.

There are a ton of cool things they could do.

Not sure where it would go but I'd love for there to be a section displaying some trophies. It's great walking in to Mariucci and seeing the trophies on display there, would be nice to have something similar.

Now that fanatics has taken over the store, the current one is half empty. Would need to ditch fanatics first.

I've said it many times before, but permanent bathrooms and concessions on the upper concourse would be so nice.

I think they should replace benches with chairs in all but the student section.
This would likely reduce attendance by a couple thousand but I’m fine with it

Used to be able to walk through that area on the east side of the plaza, but now it seems like it’s been taken over by the M Club? That’s a mistake if so.

Hahahaha YES. Its so dumb the stadium designers didn't take into account that the marching band has instruments that need to fit into the band pit as well!
I feel like this is an easy one to fix. It hasn't fit the band since Day 1.

For real. It's my biggest pet peeve with our stadium! And it's not even like the band increased in size since 2009 or anything. It's been like this since Day 1!

They built the stadium so that the seat numbers on the benches were far enough apart that if/when they ever installed chairs it wouldn't reduce the capacity. So yes....I'm with you in that I'd be good with adding chairs except for the student section.

I'm pretty sure I've had a Slugfest from one of the places up top at least once this year.

We Gopher pass holders would love that.

Fresh coats of Maroon and Gold paint around the stadium would be nice. Replacing the sun faded plastic seats too.

"Enclosing" the upper concourse (in a way that still allowed for expansion if the day ever comes where that is warranted) with more bathrooms and concessions would be nice.

Can't think of much after that
I had a thought during the Stripe out game....would be nice to alternate seat colors and your seat color would be the shirt you wear for that, I know it's not rocket science but every bit helps and if seats are empty it's not as noticeable

I also would prefer grass but I didn't even mention it because I know it won't happen.
I agree. The field however is used for many events by the students that adds much wear to it. In a sense why have grass where you have to deal with maintenance all summer and fall for a limited number of games? I believe the Coyles work better under the fake stuff as opposed to the real stuff.

Would make crowds of 40k look like 46k
Would love that change and the addition of something like the Twins Legends Club (club area that isn't ultra expensive). MN United has something like that too.

The announcer to encourage, and the crowd to sing along, the National Anthem and the Alma Mater (like when they were in ‘the previous place’ and led by the old drum major),. With the words to the songs on the board. (Sorry drum major. I forgot your name, bot not your great, deep, loud voice)

I believe the drum major you are referring to is Aaron Marks. Singing the Anthem and Hail Minnesota was his thing when he was drum major. He did it at a ton of events as the drum major with a small ensemble of band instruments in tow.

I will forever die on the hill that the student section should be lower-level only, using up all of the bleacher seats around that endzone. Not sure how the numbers would compare but I always think students should be closer to the action.

I’d be in

Wifi. It's 2022. The place needs Wifi that works.

I get surprisingly good AT&T cell coverage during games. Good enough to stream the game inside the stadium. I'd rather use cellular than public WiFi. Just switched a couple months ago from T-Mobile/Sprint which were super inconsistent during games in past years.

I’ve had no problem with my data in the stadium for going on 6-7 years

Can’t remember the last time I’ve had issues
Though I can’t get service in my own basement RIP
