Post Game Thread: GOPHERS CRUSH MSU! SOUND OFF!

I like that our back up's are playing in games. This bodes well for the future. As the head coach said, when the older players start to lead the younger guys, elite happens, when elite players lead. This is a great standard being set. Culture and program will keep rowing to greatness. Fun to see Gophers dominate line of scrimmage. MSU had only 45 offensive plays, that's winning football.

No punts
No sacks allowed
Starting D no points allowed
Win the yardage battle by about 300
Forced 3 turnovers
Have more explosive plays than they have first downs
All this on the road against a team that finished in the top 10 last year

Dominant from top to bottom. This is a REALLY good football team. Buckle up.

Well, we're Minnesotans, so we'll say the same things we always say after a huge win:

"Ya. Not too bad. Could be worse".

"Why didn't they throw to the tight ends more?"

"Remember that one play that didn't work? Well... they shoulda called a different play."

"We're not that good; the other team is bad."

"Those uniforms aren't even our team colors!"

MSU is very bad. Great win, but it doesn't tell us how good we really are.
Good lord go away. We are very good......4 games....4 blowouts. Blowing out bad teams at home is one thing, going on the road and blowing out ANY Big Ten team is another. We might still be a little behind the elite teams in the Big Ten but we are easily the top team in the West right now.

Close to perfect game by Gophers, played and coached. Sparty fans calling for Tucker's head. A shutout would've been awesome, but....this is still awesome!

Ignore him; he's really Dan Barriero, posting under an alias.

If your default position is that the Gophers aren't very good, you'll never be impressed with one of their wins.

MSU smashed a couple of bad times and then lost by 11 on the road in a game across the country to a top 15-20 team in the country.

Are they great? Nope. Are they "very bad"? I mean, we made them look really bad for the first time all season.

We know this much about the Gophers. They are good enough to absolutely smash an OK Big 10 team on the road.
