***OFFICIAL ILLINOIS AT MINNESOTA COVID RESCHEDULED IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Yeah. Illinois is maybe the worst matchup in the conference for this team. We have already exceeded my expectations but this is a tough one.
Yeah...size down low and 40% from 3

Lots of hero ball so far. Contested step back mid-range jumpers. Yuck.

Ok this is bad. The ball movement is horrific. And no one can beat their guy 1 on 1.. need to change things up, coaches

Curry suffers from the same ailment that Gabe had. Shoots the long two better than average, but can’t hit a 3 to save his life.

This is not the officials fault, but Underwood teams get away with way too much physically.

Have had no complaints with the way this game has been called. Not accusing you of anything and I often myself get worked up about the refs, just noting that I see a team that can’t match up physically with the opponent.

Even Grimm commented that this is the most 1 on 1 he's seen all year...but then qualified it by saying that maybe Illinois has something to do with that

Free throws. Leaving too many points at the line.

Curry?! Sutherlin hacked the shit out of the shooter.

Stephens has done such a great job this year of quietly hitting shots whenever we're in a rough patch, never seems to overstep but just a smooth scorer.

Yeah, this is a game too where we cannot afford to lose Curry.
Well it looks like the refs will just call the fouls on everyone so maybe it doesn’t matter.

Not trying to homer, I just see a lot of arm bars and hip checks on and off the ball. Illinois establishes themselves as the aggressor and fouls pour in the other way when their opponent tries to match. Happens every matchup with Wisconsin as well.

Plummer for Illinois...98% FT shooter
