Rattler you SC. Thought he might end up at USC
Well he did end up at USC... Just not the same one as his former HC.

In all seriousness, this is surprises me big time. From Heisman hopeful to a middling SEC East team.

Well, he didn't do very well playing a very QB-friendly offense. Maybe middling SEC is about where he's at in his QB abilities.

i mean his 2020 season was pretty damn good. 28TD/7Int, 67.5% comp pct, over 3k yards plus 6 rushing scores. even this year, 11TD/5Int and 1500yds. i don't think he's as horrible as people like to paint him but I do agree he's not the Heisman hopeful people tried to make him out to be. don't know if he fits well at all in the SEC

He’s basically the starting QB for an SEC team without even attending class or practice yet. The Gamecocks are hurting at the position.

If he can’t cut it at Ohio St then he can’t cut it here.

just sayin

Just a little spoiled, entitled, and impatient? He reminded me of Philip Nelson.

I wonder if this story is true. Where would Philip Nelson have been if he didn't tell Jerry Kill to make him the guaranteed starter, or he would take a walk? He should have sucked it all in and worked his way back into a starter because Jerry Kill didn't blink. He didn't take kindly to ultimatums.

It was right after the 2012 Meineke Bowl TTU loss when Nelson threw an interception that cost the Gophers the game. Jerry Kill was still sore from the loss.

Did you see the QB1 series? He reminded me a lot of Tate Martell but a worse teammate.

But you're right, I don't think he's like a terrible person, just spoiled rotten and an out of control ego.

The issue at Oklahoma is likely the best thing to ever happen to him.

I think most people like where we sit....
Minnesota has had an excellent December:

No bowl opt outs, no major transfers, no surprise draft declarations, no surprise de-commits, no Covid outbreaks, no coaches leaving voluntarily, did the thing we wanted them to do at OC, picked up a couple quality guys for next year. Mo, Tanner, CAB, and a couple starting OL are coming back.

If we have to talk about other teams' drama to stay busy around here I'm all for it.
