I haven't listened to it, and yet I feel as if I've heard it all, many times before. I grew up here...
The Packers. And maybe the Rams.Tell me: which teams are the Vikings going to play, going forward, that have a better offense and defense than the Packers?
Green Bay is 18th in scoring offense. They really haven’t been that good on offense.Tell me: which teams are the Vikings going to play, going forward, that have a better offense and defense than the Packers?

you can turn that around and say who are substantially worse?I'll repeat the question: who are the Vikings going to play, going forward, that are substantially better?
Here, I'll answer it for you: Going forward, the Vikings will play exactly one team that has scored more points per game than the Packers, and that team is the Rams.
Preach brother manI haven't listened to it, and yet I feel as if I've heard it all, many times before. I grew up here...
Just think how much better he would have been if he got vaccinated
So your point is it’s not a big deal for the defense to play bad against an average offense because they’ll mostly play worse offenses the rest of the regular season? Ok.I'll repeat the question: who are the Vikings going to play, going forward, that are substantially better?

That defense today was putrid. The crowd going crazy, 2 td leads, Green Bay getting penalties making it first or 2nd and 20 all day long. No answers whatsoever. So your point is it’s not a big deal for the defense to play bad against an average offense because they’ll mostly play worse offenses the rest of the regular season? Ok.

I notice a couple bad plays on that one drive, where #97 on the Packers bulldozed him. I was like "did they put Bradbury back in????"I didn’t think they’d do this but it’s a good move
That was not an average offense out there, today. So your point is it’s not a big deal for the defense to play bad against an average offense because they’ll mostly play worse offenses the rest of the regular season? Ok.
Given that the previous GB scoring drive was 1 play in about 10 seconds, have to say it was absolutely the correct strategy to not let Rodgers touch the ball. Can’t say I agree with leaving it up for Joseph to decide, but a win is a win. Heck of an exciting game.
Pointing out that the defense played poorly isn’t nitpicking. A few short posts isn’t micro-analyzing the thing to death. My point is, we won a huge game against our border rivals, and it is permissible to feel good about the win without nitpicking and micro-analyzing the thing to death.
But that's just my approach to being a fan, and it's not gonna fly here on this board. I get it. Carry on.
It was the right decision here for sure. The Packers we’re going to let us score.Given that the previous GB scoring drive was 1 play in about 10 seconds, have to say it was absolutely the correct strategy to not let Rodgers touch the ball.
Worth the risk of missing the FG. If that had happened worst case was OT, then hope for good luck on the coin toss.
This year they’ve been pretty average on offense. That was not an average offense out there, today.
Rodgers is just first ballot hall-of-famer when he runs to his left as a right hander and slings that perfect pass on the run for a TD.
They’ve had injuries to Jones and Adams, and Rodgers was out with the ‘rona for a game. That certainly doesn’t help. But it’s amazing to see how they’ve constructed their offense viewing it from afar. They’ve seemingly intentionally not drafted good skill players to go with Rodgers and Adams. They could be a Chiefs, Rams, Cards level offense if they drafted a high quality second WR and legitimate TE. They are pretty close to just being able to outscore everybody. Instead, they keep spending most of their draft capital and free agent budget on trying to construct a defense. Oh, and drafting Jordan Love, which still makes no sense when you have a temperamental, petty, insecure guy like Rodgers you are trying to keep happy and still had 5+ years of elite play left in him when you drafted another 1st round QB.Green Bay is 18th in scoring offense. They really haven’t been that good on offense.
That's fine. I'm just going by what I saw out there yesterday. This year they’ve been pretty average on offense.
Toe or not, Rodgers put the ball wherever he wanted yesterday.Given that the previous GB scoring drive was 1 play in about 10 seconds, have to say it was absolutely the correct strategy to not let Rodgers touch the ball.

Unless they knew that he wanted out to go home to Cali? Who knows. They’ve had injuries to Jones and Adams, and Rodgers was out with the ‘rona for a game. That certainly doesn’t help. This is awesome!! Love that KC has an Elmer Fudd hat sitting on top of the dash.
The only thing I would have done differently on the kneel-downs would have been Cousins taking a few steps to the left before kneeling. It was the right decision here for sure. The Packers we’re going to let us score.
I'm guessing if Rodgers had 10 good toes he would have thrown for 400+ against the Vikings.Toe or not, Rodgers put the ball wherever he wanted yesterday.
They scored in one play because we brought the house and didn't get home, so we had a free safety man covered on a tall, fast WR that simply left him in the dust.
Nothing Woods could do there, if we didn't sack Rodgers.
Is that the game where the lions defensive end got called for grabbing the facemark twice, the game would have been over without either call? He never touched the qb either time.I'm guessing if Rodgers had 10 good toes he would have thrown for 400+ against the Vikings.
Leading up to the FG, I have no doubt had the Vikes chosen to score the TD with say 30 seconds left, #12 would have got the Packers to mid-field and their fate would have been a Hail Mary, for which he has a knack for hitting.
I'm still scared by the one he hit vs the Lions on a Thursday night, while I was watching at the Aria sportsbook. Not a lot of dough, but losing 2 ways on a play like that (spread & O/U), really put me in a foul mood the rest of the vacation, having to play catch up.
There was a facemask that extended the game, but the call was legit as far as I can remember. Stupid and needless, but flag worthy. Is that the game where the lions defensive end got called for grabbing the facemark twice, the game would have been over without either call?
