***OFFICIAL ILLINOIS AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Announcer just said that IL had 125 yards in the first quarter. Wow!

If they score a TD here, that's ballgame.

The hell with it, I'll just get drunk and cry in the corner.

has Illinois had a negative play yet?

Gophers stayed in the bus for this one

Sadly, I agree. Minnesota hasn't done what they need to change on D and the offense is a shambles so far. I hope things change, but usually they do not.

If Rossi doesn’t figure something out soon, there won’t be a chance to criticize our offensive play calling. We are using 3 and 4 DL, with LBs playing g well off the line. Illinois taking more chances—5 or 6 at the line with sometimes a blitz (daring us to throw … and throw quickly). We don’t seem energized. Illinois clearly is. 🤷🏼‍♂️

The signs are there that this is going to be a longggggg afternoon. I can't believe how flat both sides of the ball are. I truly thought they learned their lesson against BG. Depressing as eff.

Realistically it's not, still lot of game to play, but it will certainly feel like it.
If they score here, there's no way we're holding them under 24 and I don't see us scoring that. At this rate, we'll only have 6-7 possessions.
