Dylan Wright is going to be a superstar here before it is all said and done.

Yep, TJ had a ton of drops early in his career too but Simon was able to mold him into one heck of a receiver. We stopped throwing the ball after Wright got hurt against Miami OH so Morgan may have some frustration with him but he also locked in on him and Wright was able to draw a couple of penalties as well.

He is far from a finished product but he has all the raw tools and Simon has proven himself to be a very good WR coach. That is a great combination.

I know we still have nothing definitive on CAB, but I am really looking forward to having CAB, Jackson and Wright on the field at the same time. Wright has amazing physical ability but Jackson is a better and more polished route runner. Hope it happens at Colorado.

I'll pass -- something similar killed a basketball season here

Is Wright willing to go over the middle? 1 play against Ohio he seemed to pull up when it look as though he would be hit.

Is there a player we should do that with?
Maybe Big Dan on a slant...
If Big Dan plants his right foot for a slant to the left, the entire stadium shifts to the right. But I love the idea!!!!! Unstoppable human=Danny Heisman!!!!

On paper it looks like it could be a quite the trio. CAB just doesn't have the same kind of Alpha/#1 athleticism/size/skills that TJ & Bateman have, imo. He's a very good player, but probably shouldn't be the focus of the offense. With Wright being able to stretch the field and make big plays, and with Jackson using his fluidity really well underneath, it should allow CAB to be more of an all-around WR, who can work the mid-range stuff.

That door swings both ways. Tanner has absolutely hung him out to dry a couple times already this season. Wright's gotta catch the balls, but Morgan can't get him killed either.
I'm wondering if Wright is always where he is supposed to be at times. When he goes over the middle he's often ... really close to linebackers and etc. They don't look like the usual routes but maybe that is by design? I dunno.

Sometimes defense is just good. But it wouldn't be surprising if he still needs to improve cuts and routes.
