7-7 in the second against the pesky Forham squad

Nebraska looks like a team that's trying to get it's coach fired.

Rams Represent

on Gameday they mentioned the only way this was a sellout today is a Big Wheel bought the remaining unsold (not sure how many). My guess is this number will becomepublic if it hasn’t already - this was included in a feature piece on What’s Wrong with Them - solid gold

Wow, Nebraska is B-A-D bad. Fordham cracking off big runs and has WRs running wide open. Their QB is horrible though and throws off his back foot every play. Nebrska ran the ball well on their last drive, but man their OL is not good.

Yeah. Nebraska going to win the game big still. But I wouldn’t feel to good about this if I’m a husker fan.

will be interesting next week

Nebraska will start 1-4. Frost won’t coach against the gophers this year.

It was insufferable on their message board during and after O$U game. They even compare TM fumble with Adrian's. LOL

I actually think that they beat Buffalo next week.

With the way Illinois is playing against USTA it makes you wonder how bad is Nebraska?

Every team in west should hope Frosty stay at Nebby for next 2 years.

Now, if we can get Mertz to portal to Nebraska, we’ll have a perfect storm.

I’m going to peek in on the Nebraska-Buffalo game. New HC at Buffalo is Mo Linquist, who had a stop at Minnesota while rising up the ranks. Buffalo might be able to stay with Nebraska if Nebraska makes its normal set of untimely, self-imposed mistakes. Don’t think that Buffalo can stay with Nebraska straight up.

I'm cheering for Nebbie in two weeks when they travel to play in Norman and here is why.
First, I hope they don't win another game other than the one vs. Oklahoma.
If they do and then OU runs the table they will have a bad loss to a horsesh!t team but would finish the season with one loss.
We run the table with one of those being a complete drubbing of the Cornhuskers (which Frost gets canned after that game) and meet OSU in the BIG title game, beat them to hand OSU their one loss. So now the FBS comm. has to decide who to take between OSU, OU and the U of M for the final two spots in the playoffs. Sorry OU, you're out because you lost to the last place team in the Big West.

Petty tall order. But, I like it.

I like this idea. Buffalo beats a listless, unmotivated Nebbie squad, and then an inspired re-energized Nebbie squad pulls out a convincing win against Oklahoma. Screws over OK and gives the NebTech administration and fans a schizophrenic moment: Fire Frost or extend him?

I mean ... sure.

But that's like hoping for a snowball to freeze hell over.

And then Frost's wife returns! And he swears to never sleep with another Lincoln hussy, ever again!

Yes. The dramatic tension of Frost’s tenuous NebTech situation is complicated by a RomCom subplot that renders the 2021 season grist a potboiler movie. Do we root against Frost the coach but for Frost the wayward husband? Can he find redemption as a husband without also finding redemption as the NebTech coach? Must he choose between wife and football coaching success?

Frosty should cast his eyes on UConn, Edsall, decided to step down immediately. He might not have as much leash as he thinks.

Im not so sure he did that on his own accord. You don't talk about retiring at the end of the year and then a day later leave on your own.

Love watching other programs struggle and go though what we do often in MN. However, I think Nebraska is much better than what they showed against Illinois. They probably should have won that game minus a critical penalty and bad punt return, which officials likely got wrong. The West will be a blood bath this season with Iowa possibly running away with it, if our defense doesn't improve and WI offense doesn't improve.

Nebraska is much more talented than they showed, but I'm not sure they're a better football team than they showed. I watched all that game and a good bit of the Fordham game and they're just not very good. Undisciplined, constantly blowing assignments on both sides, unathletic on OL, inaccurate QB, unable to consistently separate at WR, etc. I'm confident we have enough data on the program the past few years to say they're not gonna suddenly "wake up".

Yes, our dredges beat one of the “marquee“ schools that the SEC begged to join them.
