Forgot to add these yesterday, but for No. 5, here's some highlights of Gray doing everything. Running. Throwing. Catching.

This is Fred Foggie, Rickey's younger brother. The web has no pictures of Fred as a Gopher, but he wore #4, graduating in 1990.

He played in the NFL for two seasons with Cleveland and Pittsburgh, a feat his brother never achieved. In Pittsburgh, he was the 30th of 31 men who have worn #36 for the Steelers. Jerome Bettis was the next and may be the last.

(I wish Gophersports had rosters going back past 1990. We're probably missing a lot of greats from the distant past in our countdowns)
 


I noticed after one of Gray's touchdowns the cannon goes off! Gray will always be one my favorite players. Hey Gray...the Vikings need a tight end!

In recognition of the Jim Wacker remembrance thread a few days ago, I loved the Saturday night postgame coach's show (on KARE 11?) where Jim would be on weekly and, no matter how bad the game turned out, he'd watch the highlights and excitedly comment with things like "and he catches it across the middle and number 4 is out the door!!"

You can find the media guides on the website. They typically include an "All-Time Numbers" section listing players wearing each number. Can't say that those lists are complete, but it would give you some of what you are asking for.
 













One of the best connections I remember is Maye beating Daniel Davies against Nebraska in '14. Hopefully we're in store for some more autumn magic
