Transfer list possibilities, Spring 2020

Well with the NBA decision today guys that declared for the draft will have a much longer decision and you will see many return to school.

Looking at this kid as an attacking/scoring PG?! What about Carr?

Go Gophers!!

Sounds like he'd help a lot.. that said, I believe Alabama, Xavier, Pittsburgh, Kentucky, Creighton, Fresno State, Michigan and Arkansas have also reached out. He is a hot name, having just announced he will transfer.

According to 247, we aren't in his final 5 (Alabama, Arkansas, Georgetown, Georgia and Xavier.)

I just don't believe some of these guys would be selecting DePaul and Rhode Island over the chance to play in the Big Ten. Between this guy and Salnave (yesterday) whittling their lists without us on it tells me that Pitino and staff have an option or two they feel really good about or at least have focused their energy on.

The desperation continues. The UNLV guy not probably would have been just that.

Jonah would have been a wasted scholly
He's a grad transfer, it would only be for one season, and it doesn't seem that there are many better options left out there.

El-Amin. Why not? Unless we're waiting on some stud but I haven't seen anything like that.

He's not a grad transfer is he? Pretty sure he'd have to sit out a year, that doesn't do Pitino any good.

El-Amin would be transferring home which makes him pretty likely to receive a waiver.

Stupid question, but I don't know so I'll ask...Is he Khalid's son?

Sounds like a good scoop to me!

Maybe over the summer Kansas gets hit with a postseason ban and their guys can transfer without having to sit out? Marcus Garrett, Ochai Agbaji, or Christian Braun (all guard/wings) likely would want to play where there'd be a chance for the NCAA Tournament.

Unless Pitino can land a true difference-maker with that last scholarship, might be good idea to be a team still sitting there with a scholarship available? Obviously, we'd have to hope most of the brand names have their scholarship situations filled, though I suppose most schools would dump a lesser player in a heartbeat to land one of those three guys, especially Garrett or Agbaji.

It's possible a couple other schools could be in the same spot as Kansas, too.

Yeah you're right. I thought he was since he played 3 at Ball State but he must not have graduated.

Apologies if it's already been posted here in another thread, but Wisconsin has reached out to Peterson since he decommitted from Minnesota.

Cue Spaulding...

His home us about 2 hrs from Madison, not sure how much that helps his immediate eligibility case if that's what he wants. Also don't know if Wisconsin would want him to play immediately, I think I remember Built saying they're full for 2020.
