We've all had the dream. A Gopher game at the end of a regular season with something on the line. Next Saturday, November 30, 2019, a day that will live in our collective memories forever the Gophers have the opportunity to reach heights we only dreamed about, and certainly never told anyone except our best friends. I'm so happy to be a Gopher fan tonight. I'm so proud of this team. What a moment for me to be alive.

This!! So much this!

Go Gophers!!

There is 12-20 inches of snow forecast from Tuesday through Saturday night. Should be interesting.

Yup. And the crazy thing is that if we win we have an even bigger game in the B1G chipper. A possible CFP spot. Rare air that Gopher fans have not had the opportunity to breathe in a LONG time.

I think a snow game definitely flips an advantage to the Badgers. It will be tough to throw in that type of weather. Hopefully it’s manageable during the game so it doesn’t slow down our air attack.

Agree it's not good for us. If the plow crews are on top of it and it's not snowing hard during the game it should just be some piles off to the side.

Hopefully, Coyle will turn on the coils and give our passing game the best opportunity to play well. I wonder what the cost will be to heat the field, and if that's a factor in the decision to do it.

It’s probably just a natural gas boiler. Maybe a few hundred dollars for 5 days at the most? Pocket change. Turn it in Tuesday morning and have a shovel crew at the ready around the clock.

I think both teams can stop the opposing running game if the passing games are taken away by the weather. Purdue’s defense is terrible. I think we can contain Taylor. The game will probably come down to turnovers and a fluke play. Wisconsin had 3 fumbles and and an int today.

Throw some chili on the boiler this is going to be a heck of a leadup and a clash of titans. Steel on steel, Mano a Mano in the trenches, superstar receivers vs superstar running back, with our ace in the hole TM2 going against a questionable secondary. Rodney, Shannon, Coughlin’s final hurrah at TCF. PJF may be more excited than any of us down on the sideline. Strap him in or strap him down. Weather may be a (small) factor. Game Day. National television. Wow.

They're going to have to hustle to re-install them. Thought they were removed.

We know how to do this. Eat dilly bars during the game and only plow when we're kicking field goals. Get it done boys.

And isn't this when one of you bring up heating coils???

See above :)

A few inches of slush which is what is actually forecast next weekend does not equate to 12-20 inches of snow.

I said forecast from Tuesday through Sat. night

I just looked at the Weather Channel app again.

Tuesday night 3-5 inches

Thursday - less than one inch.

Friday - 1 inch

Friday night - 3-5 inches

Saturday - 3-5 inches

Saturday night 1-3 inches.

It doesn’t say anything about slush.

Of course, I was extra cautious, since I knew Gopherhole would challenge my math if I was off, but I guess you could argue it’s actually 11.01 - 19.99 inches, since they are forecasting less than one inch for Thursday.:)

Not even from here but i hope for terrible weather as even at my age i will be going to the game !

I checked out four different Weather resources and the Weather Channel app is the only one forecasting that kind of the snow. I also watched the Channel 5 weather and they said nothing about that kind of snow.

I don’t know which 4 sources you checked, but can we just agree that it isn’t good? I’d rather have snow than slush.

It’s a week away. Weather forecast can change dramatically in a week.

They were - with the Vikings turf. So dumb. We will really regret removing them this weekend.
