All Things Elvis Nnaji Recruitment Thread (Class of 2022, Gophers Offered)

Go Gophers!!

We are really his first offer? That's surprising I thought he is a pretty legit prospect

He moves really well for a kid his age and size. Another big recruiting class with Holloman and Heide.

Way to early for others to offer. They have seen him, initial look. He has a long way to go. I like him but it is early. Good idea to get ahead of it for the local school but way too early a reach for the elite programs. Have seen it pay off.How many fans have even seen him play ? I will see him three times this winter.

Seems our success rate locking down recruits with lengthy All Things threads is very low.

I have seen this kid play a few times, I'm a big fan, very good on the defensive end, reminds me a lot Mbakwe.

It's too early for other schools to offer, but not the Gophers? Ok. I have not seen him play, but glad you will 3 times. Let us know how he looks.

Great comparison, and he looks taller than Mbakwe ever was already.
Also noticed he can finish we either hand.

Wow the best he could do in his tweet graphic was a photo of Theo John and the gymnasium?

If he was serious, he would've included Steve Novak, Jae Crowder, Darius Johnson-Odom, Wes Matthews, Jerel McNeil, Dominic James or NBA 1st round picks like Lazar Hayward, OJ Mayo (whose brother Todd played at Marquette) or Henry Ellenson.

Yep. He should have been a USC trojan instead of Dwayne Wade.... Someone always brings this up. I think these images are generic and they don't choose these photos.

To quote someone who coached college basketball in wi. He appears to be more of Marquette type of player.

KSTP: Hopkins forward Elvis Nnaji earning high-major attention

The Hopkins boys hoops team is back in the gym after a long COVID-19-related layoff. They didn't get it a chance in March to defend their 2019 big school state championship.

We were at a recent workout, and caught up with 2022 college recruit Elvis Nnaji and long-time Royals coach Ken Novak Jr.

Elvis Nnaji, the cousin of NBA Draft prospect and former Hopkins star Zeke Nnaji, is earning more-and-more attention from college programs. Arizona is the latest school to offer, and previously the Gophers and Marquette did the same. Many other schools are keeping tabs, and are expected to offer at a later date.

Go Gophers!!

Arizona bound like his brother and sister?

thanks for the correction Johnnyboy18.

noting Elvis' pinned tweet is the Arizona offer from June 17 2020 ...from Sean Miller

Anyone know if Johnson has reached out/re-offered? Not sure where Elvis slots in with his loaded local class

top of the thread Elvis mentions a Minnesota offer (as well as marquette and arizona)

ahh, got your point that the offer predates Johnson
