Gotta roll the dice with Croft for the rest of the season.
 





It's been a disappointing season thus far, but this game stands alone. It feels like a major step back for the entire program. Northwestern is damn good, but the Gophers don't belong on the same field as the 'Cats. Tough, tough day.
 



Already thinking of starting the Should we start Croft the rest of the year Poll with both choices being YES.

Yep at this point you stick with him because there is no turning back now in terms of the redshirt. People need to be realistic with their expectations though because the kid is a true freshman and probably more of a project guy who really needed time to develop.

If this is the route we're going, go with it. I don't want to see Leidner starting next week. Roll with it.

Best throw I've seen all year from a Gopher QB.
 

Our line may not be playing well. Our play calling may suck. Our WR may not be able to get open. But something had to change. Leidner looked lethargic back there.

I just don't see this coaching staff being able to recruit a viable big ten passing offense. It is embarrassing I knew we would take a step back with Williams and Cobb gone but we have zero dynamic playmakers.
 

I like Croft so far. Better throwing, better running. Our O-Line is still bad.
 


Well Croft can throw so why did the coaches wait this long to start him. That's disgraceful.
