Wasn't the play call, it was the execution. Bad route, worse throw. There was more than 1 route and he had a poor read and late delivery. If no one is open, tuck the ball and run or throw it out of bounds.
 

Mitch is pushing again. Give him some simple bootlegs or screens if its there. High percentage dump offs. Don't roll him out left.

Spread them out and let 27 and 24 break tackles up the middle for big gains.

Stop blaming Leidner... It's the stubborn Coaches who are too afraid of change. I swear Leidner has blackmail materical on the coaches or something. They are not afraid to switch players at all the other positions, yet they stick to Leidner. And for those people who keep saying "he is the best we have," and "Coaches know best," Remember Nugget as the next Cobb? You won't know what you have in a player until they actually play in a game or two.
