Sorry if this has been posted, I can't keep up with all the post and excitement...which is a good thing!!!

Love the stat. Interested to see how it goes w/o Maxx this year, but hoping that Woz can become a big-time target down there.

Another fact, the Gophers now have 3 fullbacks on the roster. Miles Thomas 5-11 250, Tyler Hartman 6-3 257, and Colton Beebe 6-3 263. I would think this points to more I formation. More carries for the tailback. And chances in the play action game.

That is great, but I would fel better about it if Maxx was still here to distract people and make unbelievable catches.

I'm calling it...This is going to be #YearOfTheWoz

Another Leidner Fact: He was 1 of 8 college QBs to have both 10+ TDs passing and 10+ TDs rushing last season.

I suggest the Gophers play more offensive snaps in the red zone to maximize Leidner's effectiveness.

Leidner doesn't need to be a Heisman candidate this year. He only needs to improve a little. A little more accurate to wide open receivers. A little quicker to throw the ball away to avoid sacks and fumbles. And finally, a little quicker to recognize, set up and fire.

If he does these things we will have a golden year. With a full year of service under his belt, a much better cadre of receivers, throwing in practice against a great defense and the tutoring of Mr. Weber and the Mannings, all of this should be achievable.

This could be a very fun season to watch and remember.

As Leidner develops, I think he'll show us that improvement -- THIS SEASON. IMO more often he had to thread a needle because our receivers had trouble getting open. I'm hoping the upgrade in speed and size will help.
