After long thought and deliberation........the gold helmets suck. It's just a bad gold for a helmet. Works fine for the pants, but not helmets and jersey. Furthermore, I get 19 votes, right? :cool02:

I think it is interesting that although we only wore the gold helmets a couple of times last year it feels like a majority of the photos that get used in stories about the team have the gold helmets.

It's not a Dienhart article without screwing up a name. Joe Christenson apparently had some eligibility left and is leaving the Star Tribune to play center for the Gophers.
 

Al I know about Dienhart is what I have read on Gopherhole. Which is Dienhart is a hack and has no idea what he is talking about. So I should take his prediction as such?

Most criticism of him is his constant mistakes with names and inability to do any kind of research.

Can't we keep the past in the past? He's obviously turned over a new leaf and is on the right track going forward.
 


Those Gold Helmets are sick! Hence why they use them in the photos. Ask a recruit what he thinks of those Gold helmets. Changing it up a little with Gold helmets, white helmets, different combinations is good! The Gophers have never looked so good. Ok, go ahead now and take the old man shots at the usage of the word sick.
 

You whippersnappers are tasteless! Those gold helmets are atrocious!!! They don't help the players. They just slow them down with all that extra weight. And Just think of all the money the team is spending on making the helmets out of gold.

They should stick to the maroon leather helmets they were wearing before.

Too much hype for this year - running game probably won't match last year (Cobb), and passing game probably not as good with Maxx gone. Schedule brutal.

What other 'word meanings' do you plan on changing?

Maybe we should just scrap the English language and go with Spanish or French or something else.:cool02:
