All Things Final 4 Thread

Alright, I'm gonna need Tyus Jones photoshopped into Jesus wearing a maroon and gold robe. Can anyone pull that off?

Maybe the greater gift Tyus planned on giving us Gopher fans is almost upon us?

Tyus effed the state once, and he's going to do it again. I'd like to be right about anything else, but when the Gophers got kicked in the crotch for the 5th or 6th time in the Big, I hedged my bet and wagered on Wiscy to finish first. Congrats Wiscy. You earned it. I can look at Wiscy and say that they can be damn proud of making it this far, and possibly winning a national title on the backs of some developmental players and in-state starters who could have gone elsewhere. Props to Dekker, Gasser and Koening for staying home. You are now legends. I'm thrilled that they've come this far basically without Trayvon Jackson. That little prick's the basketball equivalent of fat little Dixie Chick Natalie Maines.

Well said, BTP, I would relish seeing the great Tyus and Duke squashed by Wisconsin on Monday night. What a great night that will be for the Big Ten and a legendary Wisconsin team that will be talked about for the next 40 years. What happened tonight was incredible, and I like Kentucky in general.

Go Gophers!!

Dekker had a good game and has played well in the tourney. I bet he goes to NBA next season.

Duke vs. Wisconsin makes history as first pick’em title game in Las Vegas

Pick the winner; cash the ticket.

For the first time in 30 years, as far as reliable point spread data exists, college basketball’s national championship game is listed as a pick’em in Las Vegas. Wisconsin and Duke are evenly matched heading into Monday night’s showdown in Indianapolis according to sports books.

“Wisconsin and Duke, they’re about the same,” Wynn Las Vegas sports book Executive Director Johnny Avello said earlier in the week. “Kentucky is a notch above them, but not a big notch.”

Never been happier to be in Bangladesh than right now-the two programs that I despise most facing one another in the championship game. The great thing about the game being on Monday is it doesn't allow for too much time for columnists to write a preponderance of articles on the two programs "doing things the right way".

On the one hand, Wisky and Kentucky was a very entertaining game, even though I can't support either team. On the other hand, the officiating was godawful. As many of you mentioned earlier, there were some truly terrible calls going both ways. They weren't minor mistakes that didn't really effect the game either. Wisky got a couple free baskets and Kentucky should have had a flagrant go against them. Personally I think it should have been a flagrant 2.

Pretty sure he will. He's looking at being drafted in the 14-20 range now. Think about this though...

Wisconsin loses: Kaminsky, Dekker, Gasser, Jackson, Dukan
Wisconsin returns: Koenig, Hayes
Wisconsin gains: Illikainen, Pritzl (both 3 stars)

The Badgers seem to find a way EVERY year, but if there were to ever be a down year for them, next year would be it.

Actually the Badgers are hoping that redshirt freshman Ethan Happ takes Frank's place.

A team that lost to Rutgers cannot win the National Title. Right? Right!?!

What's the over/under on flops in this game?

Lots of red in Indy. I don't know if that will make a difference or not.

Wisconsin's chances may depend on their ability to hit the three. They are not getting much inside.

Dook could be up 10+ if they were making their bunnies.

Two can play this game. Wisconsin has missed bunnies too. The Kaminsky baseline drive was as easy as it gets, the Travon Jackson drive in transition etc. They also missed a ton of free throws out of character.
