Glad we saw the improvement in Mo Walker this year. Coaches did a great job with him. I would also add that Buggs produced way more than I expected. Mason improved throughout the year and will be a tremendous leader next year.

EE has very slow feet for a big man and has never had a shooting touch, there is no way he would have contributed or matured as the idiot from the Trib suggest. To even suggest that EE could have developed into a stud is simply moronic. It is equivalent to every parent of a 5th grader telling their child that they can play Div. I basketball if they just practice and if they don't make it then it's the high school coaches fault.

He probably would have been a solid back up if he had 5 years under Richard too. I don't think that is an outrageous statement.

Didn't Pitino call Elliott the best big man in the conference in a post game locker room speech in 2013? I think it was after the OSU win.

Or he could turn into another Evan Anderson, Ian Markolf, or J.P. Gavinski.

While Bo Ryan is definitely good at developing players, some players can't be helped no matter who's doing the coaching.

Stud back-up? I call bullsh$t. I could be wrong but it seemed like Eliason's attitude kept him off the court more than anything.

Elliott and Bo do have one thing in common - EE thought that he never committed a foul , and if played for the Badgers Bo would have agreed.

We have such lazy sports writers in the twin cities metro area.

Couldn't agree more.

The amount of fawning over the Badgers success by twin cities media is making me sick this morning. It is as if the Badgers are our local team.

This is just total and complete crap on the part of Pat. It's a completely moot and nonsensical point. Bo would never recruit someone with so little skill.

EE gave us 2.5 good years. I thought one of the keys last season was for both EE and Not So Huge Mo was to find a way to coexist. Never happened.

Maybe Eliason, Ellenson, Iverson, and Martin would have been better off at UW. They all have surnames ending in "n." Must be bad luck here.
