There are various Gophers worth watching this season, all with different strengths and play different team positions. Here’s our pick of 3 worth watching:

  • Antoine Winfield Jr (Safety). – Originally drafted in by the Buccaneers in 2020, he’s definitely a player to watch in this year’s NFL. He still plays for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and at just 22 years old has already built himself quite a reputation. Wearing number 31 on his shirt, he’s got over 30,000 Twitter followers, who will all be following his next games and career move with eagerness. He has NFL in his blood as his dad is three-time NFL All-Pro cornerback Antoine Winfield Senior – so Junior has a lot to live up to.

  • Damien Wilson (Line-Backer) – Back in 2015 the now 28-year-old was seconded in the fourth round of NFL drafts by the Dallas Cowboys. He now plays as a linebacker for the Jacksonville Jaguars, wearing shirt number 54. He played a couple of seasons for Kansas City where he recorded 154 total tackles and a whole host of other impressive stats. He’s another player that has racked up over 30,000 followers on social media, so will be feeling the pressure to do well for his new team.

  • Maxx Williams (Tight End) – Williams now plays for the Arizona Cardinals. He started his professional American football career in 2015 when he was drafted in through the second round by the Baltimore Ravens. He plays for the Cardinals wearing shirt number 87 and has an impressive 14,000 Twitter followers. He originally signed a one-year contract with them; however, they were so keen to keep him on that they extended that by two years and as such, he will be playing for them this NFL season.

It is all well and good betting for your favorite team but if you want your bets to have the best possible chance of being successful then you should keep an eye on gameplay and how things are progressing.
