Come on people: get with the times! “…follow the brave new world lead of the NFL multi-billion dollar net worth owners club brain trust!…”.

Don’t cave in to ESPN and their little pet SEC league. The college players need to learn how to deal with “…time zone and jet-lag issues if they hope to play at the next level. Coaches and fans do too!

Did the PAC fold mainly because the time zone difference reduced their TV visibility and viewership? They had some bigtime schools between football and basketball, not to mention non rev sports, and academic powerhouses Stanford and Cal. They really should’ve found a way to keep it between Pacific and Mountain/Arizona time zones. Stanford/Cal traveling to the east coast for their conference away games is bananas.
 

Pro teams travel across the country frequently. Plus out of the country. Its about adjustment, but not saying its easy. Its always and adjustment playing on the road.

USC faces four BIG teams at home and travels to three.

I remember Lloyd Carr whining and crying about the Friday night game at the damn Dome to accommodate the Twins schedule. Now Friday night BIG games are common.

That is simply not a good comparison for the abomination of our ridiculous coast to coast Big Ten.

He's like the fourth highest paid HC in college football and has the #1 recruiting class for 2026. Him complaining about things like this are comical.

Carr also eventually / uncharacteristically backpedaled on his statements, I assume after someone told him to do so.

They folded because the dough wasn't nearly as much for USC/UCLA there as for them in the Big 10.

They left and the 8 others found better deals elsewhere.

You’re comparing pro teams to kids who are ostensibly supposed to be college students going to class and doing homework.

While it is now common in the Big 10, it's still uncommon for Michigan.

I don't think that they have played another since that night at the HHH Dome.

I asked AI, but we know this is not completely accurate.
