FWIW, spoke to a family member of a Badger player the night before our game in Madison. She said Stave's gone and there might be more unrest.

I read somewhere that they expect freshman DJ Gillans to compete for the job, regardless if Stave is there next year.
 

At 59-0 those are starting to look like skunk stripes on Bucky. :)

To be fair, you wouldn't need the entire roster to throw the game, just a handful of key starters. That said, it's still a completely ludicrous theory, and I would still find it hard to believe that even a small contingent of starters could be convinced to take dive without it leaking.

More like about 15,000 I would say. It probably sounded like 7 though. Not alot to cheer about in that game.

I am always happy to stay off this board, as long as the thread is about Minnesota. If it is about Wisconsin, well of course I might comment.

So any legs to the talk of Stave transferring? If Stave goes what is the QB depth chart?
 

Sounds like an oft repeated rumor from various sources. I would guess that it is highly likely. The coaching staff here did not handle the QB situation well.

The depth chart would include Mcevoy, a redshirt freshman D.J. Gillins and incoming freshman Austin Kafentzis. All three are the dual threat QB that Andersen wants.
 




Interestingly I am now hearing rumors that Gary Andersen is gone to Oregon St.

Lots of rumors had been swirling that he and Alvarez did not get along at all.
 

Wiscy fans may think Stave sucks (and it may or may not be true), but if they had played us without him they would've gotten killed.

I can't believe that beckyville is the equivalent to the hole. It seems amateurish at best. Not much traffic to speak of.
