Yeah. He is about a serious jackhole who really deserves to be fired. With Rutgers headed to the B10, it's time for them to straighten up and fly right, and priority one on their list should be to get rid of this arsehole, as he can only drag them down.
 

The university president saw the video too and didn't order him dismissed.

Rice fired at Rutgers-Another coaching vacancy

Well, is MN now a worse destination than Rutgers? We better land a better coach than them, thats all I can say. I guess we will see how we stack up against them in luring a quality coach. NJ vs. MN, which is more appealing?
 


While Minnesota isn't a great destination, it's much better than Rutgers. That program is horrible. They haven't made the dance since 1991, and they have to recruit NYC/NJ/Philly against all the traditional basketball powers out there.

My sources tell me that Rice has been contacted by the University of Minnesota.
 




AD messed up but if the university president was on board with the decision Pernetti will be ok.

I didn't think it was possible but I care/worry less about the Rutgers opening than the Texas Tech one.
 

Tubby missed his chance to keep things in the conference and haunt the gophers twice per year. :)

What they forgot to tell you is they all looking to hire him to throw balls at Joel Maturi for all the bonehead extensions he gave to everyone that has cost tax payers millions. They are going to make Joel earn his $400,000.

What a mess. Rice gone, Pernetti gone and now the President and Board of Regents are going to be subject to endless questions about how this went down.

Yikes....
 

I think it is pretty obvious that the AD/President handled it back in December in a manner they hoped would go away due quickly. It coincided with negotiating to join the Big 10. I would seriously like to boot them out before they even join. Take the Terps with you.
