Would you change the starting lineup against Indiana?

People calling for Mo Walker in the starting lineup are crazy! He is so painful to watch. I don't understand all the support for him. He's slow and out of shape, he's a liability on defense, he turns the ball over like crazy. Sure, he put the ball in the basket a few times last game but its not worth the negatives he brings. My starting five right now would be :

Dre
Wally
Hollins
Mbakwe
Eliason

Sure, Wally is a liability on defense right now but he brings energy and could ignite us a little bit. Just go back to letting dre create his shots, hitting the offensive glass hard and playing sound defense.

I'm not sure what lineup would be most effective. However, I might tell the kids that playing time is open for those who practice best this week. Those who show their desire to play effectively and with heart will get the start in next Tuesday's game. Those who go through the motions will be riding the pines. No one is exempt from sitting. Hopefully that would light a fire under the kids and spark some competition in practice. I would hope that kids like Mbakwe, Williams, Ingram and Welch would take it personally as seniors and that the underclassmen would see the opportunity to get valuable minutes. There is not one player who is secure in their role as a starter or major contributor after the display that has been turned in the last two games. Let this weeks practice decide who plays and who sits.

Few are calling for Mo in the starting lineup. The big positive with Mo is that he is the only guy we have who is able to establish real good low post position. There are three positives to this: 1. It forces the defense to sag a little lower which creates more space on the perimeter 2. It actually gives him a chance to score. 3. Often times the opponent is forced to foul a guy that gets that deep in the paint. That said, Mo is having trouble finishing and he does turn the ball over too much. He could have socre 12 to 14 points easily had he converted his lay shots from 4 feet and closer in the OSU game.

The kid has real potential if he can drop 20-30 pounds. He is going to surprise people next year if he does.

Wholeheartedly agree.

Before Trevor went down last year the team was playing great. He was a beast and I think could have been player of the year in the Big Ten. Trevor has had some great moments this year, but I don't see the beast. I do not think that he is in the kind of shape that he would like to be and it is perfectly understandable coming back from an injury like that.

As last progressed the team improved with a lineup with EE starting. Earlier this year the team continued to play great with that lineup. I say go back to that lineup. Bring Trevor off of the bench as early as the 5 or 6 minute mark. Have him replace either EE or Coleman depending on how they are playing. Limit Trevor to 25 minutes or so unless he is absolutely killing it.

IMO Mbakwe still doesn't have the straight up vertical he used to. He just can't get up as quick or as high and that takes a lot out of his ability to score around the bucket at 6-7 to 6-8.

We need someone else big in the middle besides Trevor. If Rodney and Coleman were scoring and defending we wouldn't be in this predicament. We need more of Ingram, Mo, and Elliot (2 of those 3 should be in at all times in my opinion).
