if uw beats michigan state this weekend, they can win the outright big ten title at williams arena next week. we protect our house about as well as a cat protects a house from a burglar. could we see bo getting up on a ladder at the barn?
Especially with the advent of the Big Ten Tournament in '98, not sure whether teams cut down the nets when they clinch the regular-season title on the road, but I remember well the Gophers cutting down the nets in Ann Arbor in '97 after clinching (outright) our last Big Ten championship. My memory may be fuzzy, but Michigan did the classy thing and told Clem to go ahead and cut down the nets. I would prefer not to see that happen when the Badgers visit next week, but if the Badgers win it would be the classy thing to do/allow, if they choose to do so. I'm not so sure Bo will want do that, bigger fish to fry down the road, but if they beat us will be interesting to see if they do.

SS, if it was any other team than Wisconsin I could see your point. We almost had a major altercation with the ax at TCF two years ago. They can go back home and cut the nets down at the Toilet Center.
Why would they cut down the nets after losing against an unranked Gopher squad?
