Louisville applied a very aggressive full court press for most of the second half. Between Al Nolen, Blake Hoffarber and Devoe Joseph, we managed to get the ball up the court without turning it over nearly every possession.

Lawrence Westbrook had a few troubles at the end but he was playing tight in front of the home crowd after sitting for most of the game, we know that he is comfortable with the ball.

Having the ability to bring the ball up the court will be invaluable in the Big Ten.

Another thing worth mentioning that I think has gone overlooked so far is the marked improvement of Hoffarber's defense this year. Many people thought it was a reason that we were going to lose to teams with athletic guards. Between Virginia and Louisville, he was guarding among the most athletic SG's in the country, and more than held his own in terms of quickness and ability to defend.

Whatever he did this off-season in terms of weights/conditioning/etc, it's really helped our team defense in the half-court.
