Better. Positive thought we have a chance for a four game win streak - win at NW and then three home games!!! Wishful thinking?

Reynolds may have talent, some of you can better judge that. I see a guy off balance and not under control much. I wonder if the Big Ten schedule will make him look even worse.

Went with about what I expected but that is mostly because we really haven't gotten to see the whole team in action due to the injuries.

A 7 man rotation is going to have a tough time surviving the grind of the Big Ten season.

It’s nice to believe the gophs could now beat UST. The past 4 years were pretty effing stupid.
For what it’s worth Haslametrics.com projects on a neutral court the Gophers would be roughly a 2 to 2.5 point underdog to the School Thou Shall Not Mention Here.

Not certain, but KenPom would probably have that flipped.

You expected to not see the whole team??

The talent is light but the team functions better than I thought it would. I am beyond pleased with the system. If we could get Vaihola back, soon, and avoid other injuries I think we could win 6-8 games and have a great story to tell recruits. That is what this year is about, building confidence in the coach, system and culture.

Drives me crazy that nobody speaks to injuries and expected return dates anymore.
Same here.

Would be nice to at least get the expected return estimation (i.e. day to day, 2-4 weeks, 4-6 weeks, etc.) like in the "old days". Now they don't even bother with that. That's why I'm skeptical now when we no longer get an estimated return. My first thought is skepticism & that it's due to the Wild, Wild West world college sports now live in. I just assume those guys are out the rest of the season even if they're heathy enough to play.

I think going forward, teams need to leave the 14th and 15th spots open to start the season so they can sign guys in December to replace the ones who suffer injuries in the non-conference and then choose to sit out the rest of the season.

About what I thought. I thought 5-7 B10 wins for the season. Not that talented but fairly well coached. Need some better players. Injuries not helping at all either.

Maybe a bit more inconsistent than I figured but the record is probably close to what I figured it would be.
