With non-conference schedule over, the Gophers are?

Better than small schools and not quite as good as some of the good teams. About what I thought

...heading into the valley of the shadow of death...and time will tell if they can get out alive.

UNC game was too early in the season to get a good assessment, the last two games against inferior teams have not provided much of a predictor for Big Ten play either. So, where are we? - I still don't know.

Going in, I assumed we'd best RI and Nevada, and thought we should beat NC. Almost went with worse than expected, but we were dominant enough in the last two that I went with about where I'd expected. Dropping to 2-2 would be disappointing, but I think we will beat Iowa at home. If I'm being realistic, I probably thought 3-1 was the most likely landing spot after 4 weeks, so as long as we win that one, we are back on track.

Beat I-O-W-A and probably better than expected for me.

The Hawks have consistently been a strong test for our beloved rodents in the Fleck Era (for a number of reasons, some of which are inexplicable).

Going to 3-1 with a W for Floyd erases any remaining qualms from the first three games.

Go Gophers!
