I dont know about punting and kicking off but dont we have a rather good placekicker in place to replace Ellestad when he graduates--David Schwerman? Sure looked good in the fall scrimmage. Wondering how much others know about him.

What about that Wisconsin kid with the preferred walk-on offer
Could we snatch him with a scholarship offer is he from Baldwin or something like that? Sounds like that western Wisconsin kid has a legitimate boomer for a leg, could be a weapon on kickoffs. Anyone know?

I hope that Kip Smith does not turn into Taylor Mehlhaff part II. After Mehlhaff bailed on his commitment we scambled to replace him and ended up with Jason Giannini, and we suffered through him/Monroe for four years because of it. Luckily in this case since Ellestad is a junior we do have an extra year to try and find another kicker, but this is just our luck.
