I'm guessing we will see the Uniforms some day, perhaps as soon as Homecoming next year.
 


When they wore something similar during the Mason years against North Dakota State, they looked like a JV team to me (and not because of the play on the field, which was JV-like). But this version looked great on Saturday.
 

I really liked the mix of the throwback helmets while using the new unis to replicate the WMW look of the 60s.

 




I’ve heard a few people refer to Saturday’s uniforms as “throwbacks”. The helmets were throwbacks but the rest of the uniforms were just the current uniforms worn with a white pants combo.

I did not mind them and they did give the overall feel of historic Gopher uniforms.

That being said, I’m glad that is behind us and we can get back to maroon or gold pants at home.

I’m also looking forward to some more colorful road uniform combos. I was surprised they decided to go all-white two road games in a row. I’m personally looking forward to a G/W/G road combo, perhaps with Goldy on one side of the helmet.
