With Nebraska joining the conference, Iowa-Nebraska makes sense as a closer for those 2 teams.

Move Minnesota-Iowa to the 1st Saturday in October, and close with Wisconsin-Minnesota.
 

I think most people would be up for that.

Things might change a bit if more schools are added, but I like that so far. :)
 

I wonder how Whisky and Iowa feel now that ANOTHER program with football national championships in their trophy case is in the conference.

And with Nebraska's 5, they are only 4th in the conference in number of national championships.
 

As a traditionalist, I always thought Minnesota and Wisconsin should play each other the last game. Now that we are both outside, it is even better! For years, a whole group of us from both cities gathered for that last game in the outdoors. One year, the last year outside I think, a snowball fight broke out in the stands. Good times...
 

I live 30 miles from the iowa border in mn, but still feel like the wisconsin rivalry is way better and more heated that the minn-iowa one. I am a huge advocate for the Wisconsin game to be moved to the last week of the season as well!
 


Wisconsin was traditionally the last game until 1983. It's time to return things to the way they used to be.
 






WI does not border on NE so it doesn't make sense for the traditional 'Border Battle' weekend they can have them the week before.:clap:
 

Agree with the border battle stuff, but Nebraska is a more attractive opponent than Minny to close the season, IMO...

Seriously? In your opinion is Minnesota a better football program than Nebraska? Better program than Iowa and Wisconsin?
 

Apparently the division breakdown has already been decided if Bulimia is certain that NU will play them every year.
 




i guess any team would be better than WI's normal cupcake season ending opponent. Cal-Poly anyone?

This is just BB posturing. WI has NO tradition or connection with NE. It should be IA. Assuming both are still around, poor Brad may get stuck with Brewster and Gophers. Given their dislike for each other, this could be sweet.
 

Barry "The Parrot" and his lackey Bert Bielema are just blowing smoke. MN/Wisconsin & Nebraska/Iowa makes the most sense on the last weekend.

Read what I wrote.

Wish-consin wishes that they had at least one National Championship.
Iowa wishes that they had at least one National Championship.
It amazes me that Nebraska, with their 5 National Championships will rank 4th, historically, in the Big 10 with number of total National Championships.

I stated nothing about the state of any program today.
