Wisconsin coach Luke Fickell will return to coach the Badgers in 2026

You are not wrong but we still have to see if there is any real enforcement going on of the bogus deals. Easier said then done.
Word is that there is enforcement of this. Many deals have been turned away since it started. Hopeful that continues.

Hopefully.....but not getting my hopes up because it seems like whenever there is any sort of pushback it just leads to another lawsuit and the NCAA caves.

Would be awesome if NIL actually became NIL and not pay for play. Have said all along that NIL is great for college athletes but what it predictably became in college basketball and college football is a mess.

Definitely worried that the Skunks could put up a fight or even win the Axe game. I won't rest until that one is over and in the victory column.

That being said, what a warm and comfortable thought to head into the weekend with. Wisconsin still trying to get better with Fickell as their head coach. Wonderful.
I had zero worry the badgers will win.
It is possible the gophers lose though.

If you know what I’m saying.

They’re awful awful.
We are just sometimes awful.

Yeah, their D was ok against Oregon but they were also aided by a downpour for most of the game. Rain or shine their offense has been a complete mess this season.

And it is more than just a function of their schedule. In conference only games they are averaging 5.4 points a game. To put that in perspective the Big Ten's webpage has stats going back to 2022. In that timeframe no team has finished the conference season averaging less then 11 points per game.

If you bump it to all games their scoring average jumps to 12.5. You have to go back to Northwestern 2023 to find a team that finished under 15 points a game on the season.

If we play clean (no turnovers, bonehead penalties, defensive breakdowns....)we will beat them this year.....if we don't anything is possible and we could certainly lose.

Yes.
If the gophers lose, it is their own fault…not because the badgers beat them

Oregon's QB left the game in the 3rd Q.

Indiana (261) has almost 10 times as many points as wisconsin (27) does in Big Ten play

It's stunning how Indiana has become what wisconsin was at their peak, and wisconsin has become what Indiana long was.
