I hate him for your listed reasons, but mostly because he coaches our rivals team. Should we conduct a study of how many red sox fans loved Joe Torre or even Derek Jeter?

Obviously being rivals has a lot to do with it, but there is a big difference between loving your rivals coach and hating them. I neither hate nor love Kirt Ferentz, but I respect him even though he coaches for Iowa. Same goes for when Alvarez coached for Wisconsin. Just a preference thing that varies by person. Bo is a hell of a coach, but I despise the guy.
